Questions
Questions about blonde at the studio
Do I need a consultation before my first color?
Yes. Every new color client starts with one, so your colorist sees your hair and your history before mixing anything. It takes 20 to 30 minutes and ends with a plan.
How long will my color day take?
A balayage takes three to four hours, foil highlights two and a half to three and a half, and a toner and gloss about 45 minutes. Every service on the menu lists its length.
Can I go blonde in one visit?
It depends on your starting shade and your hair's history. Lighter starting shades often take one visit; darker ones usually take more, and we say so before we start.
What do I bring?
Photos of the blonde you like and one you don't, and what you remember about past color: box color, salon color, henna or a smoothing treatment, and roughly when.
How does a deposit work?
Longer services take a deposit to hold the time. It goes toward your service, and the menu marks which services take one.
What if I need to cancel or run late?
Please give 48 hours' notice to move or cancel. If you're running late, call us and we'll see whether the plan still fits.
Do you do a patch test?
We can, at least 48 hours before your first color. Tell us when you book if you have ever reacted to a hair product.
Can I bring a child or a friend?
Color days are for adults, and the studio is small. One adult companion is welcome to sit with you.
How much will it cost?
Your price follows your hair, your plan and the stylist's level, and you hear it before anything is mixed. How pricing works explains each part.
Does Arizona sun change my blonde?
Sun, pool water and hard water can pull warmth into blonde. Your colorist tells you what to use at home, and a toner between visits resets the tone.
